Two Weeks

Two weeks have passed since my last post, I am terrible at blogging! The past two weeks has been busy as usual. Kid have done their usual, school and fighting. Babies have been good, both had a bit of a cold. I had to take Harley to the Dr on Wednesday this week. He was just being so whiny, I really thought by the way he was acting that he had a ear infection. The Dr said he only had a respiratory infection and that his ears are good. He is starting to feel a bit better, hes not as grumpy as he had been thankfully.

The big kids only have 4 school days left, its amazing how quickly this year has passed. Next year Lexi will be starting Jr high the 7th grade. Mikey will be in 5th grade and Kaylee well we still aren't sure which grade she will be in. She has to do summer school and if she does well she may pass on to the 1st grade. If not she will be retained and be in kinder again.

I hope the summer passes quickly, I'm not looking forward to the summer heat. I do hope we have a good summer though. Lexi and Kaylee will do summer school for the month of June and then in July we will get the pleasure of having a visit from Lisa and her family. And then the end of August we can look forward to school being back in.

Busy

I've spent most of my day cleaning, just about done too. Lexi will still have to finish up her room and clean her bathroom and then we will be ready for tomorrow. I always tell her cause she complains about cleaning that if she would just keep it cleaned she wouldn't have to rush around cleaning when she has something planned or wants to do something. I wish all my kids would have and keep the cleaning bug! I remember being Lexi's age and I would always clean my room and always be willing to help my mom with chores. I just keep telling myself maybe one day!

Where is friday?

I'm so ready for Friday to be here already, well kind of. Friday is my day off but I will be very busy so it really won't be like a day off. I have to be at the school at 8:45a.m. to have a meeting about Mikey, then I will have to leave and be back at the school at noon for a meeting about Kaylee. Then after the meeting for Kaylee I will pull Lexi out of school early, its her birthday weekend and she is having a sleepover Friday night and wants to help me prepare(so thankful for that!). So we will have to either rush home to bake cupcakes for her party or go and buy some. I'm really opting for buying some. We will have to get the kids from the bus at 3 and then wait for Mike to get home. And make the decision of who will go and get pizzas for dinner while the other waits at home for Lexi's friends to show up. I just hope these girls decide to behave and not stay up all night. Although if they do stay up all night that is fine with me as long as they are quiet. So I will have lots of running around and will look forward to relaxing in the evening. I just hope I can manage running with two babies and breaking for lunch and feeding babies.

I think I am totally ready for school to be out for the summer. I am looking forward to not being a slave to the alarm for a few months. Plus my sister and her family are coming for a visit in July and I am so ready to see them all. I so wish they would move back to Texas already. But I guess it is what it is. We also have a family reunion in June and I'm ready for everyone to meet our two new family members.
