Wow its the last day of the month already! Pretty amazing how fast a month can swirl by us without even realizing. My last post was Thursday and its been a painful last couple of days. Thursday night I woke with tooth pain, Mike ended up sticking around and running the kids to school for me so I could sleep. Friday I hurt all day, Saturday I hurt and decided that I was going to look for a dentist, with no luck, no one was opened or they had already closed for the day. Sunday I was in somewhat pain. Today I woke feeling pretty darn good, but I knew I had to see a dentist, this problem would not go away it can only get worse. So to the dentist I went, $325.00 later and missing a wisdom tooth, I feel better. Well if the numbness would go away I would be even better. I swear when they were numbing me up he nicked my tongue with the needle because it is so numb feeling. I also set up and appointment in February for full xrays and cleaning and a comprehensive listing of everything that needs to be done to my mouth.
See I have terrible teeth, I call them disgusting!!! Some part of my genes I got horrible teeth, my teeth are stained and I have been told my teeth are very soft, my mouth is full of cavities. I have always brushed my teeth, I never flossed or used mouth rinse. I don't think that's the cause of my cavities but I'm sure it helped out some. My kids have my teeth too. I noticed after Alexis lost her front and her adult teeth followed in, a few months later she started showing slight staining on her teeth. Thankfully they have dental insurance and I am able to take her to the dentist. As a matter of fact take all my kids to the dentist. I'm glad to know that they will have a better smile than me. I remember Alexis's dentist saying she was going to have a million dollar smile, I'm sure not that much but if you add all the cleanings and preventive care it is a pretty penny. Oh and I forgot to mention but my 3 sister and my brother all have staining on their teeth as well, not too sure on the cavities but I know I'm not the first of them to get a tooth pulled. I just hate my teeth and hope I can do something to make them better.
So anyway that's where I've been the past couple of days, dealing with the toothache and it was horrible, the only thing I could do was sleep sitting up. Chicken noodle soup is good, the broth was the best and mashing the noodles up were good too. I even ventured to El Fenix restaurant with my family and had to take the smallest of bites to even eat. Medicine was good too, I was switching between Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours and finally got some Vicoden and that was good, it was alot better and took the pain away.
Ok,Ok enough about teeth. Still on the apartment hunt. I'm pretty sure I have found the one for us but still need to go and tour it and make a final decision. Pay application fee and deposit and get ready to move in. I really want to start fully packing but I know Mike is so against it. I will have to continue later... didn't realize it was time to go get the kiddos from school.

List
Here's my list of stuff I need/want to accomplish....
~ Move. That is number one, very important to me and my family. We need OUR space and it is time. Spread our wings and fly.
~ Health. I want to start exercising and eating better and not only me, my whole family. For myself I would like to lose weight and be happy with me! I would like to lose 60lbs.
~ Debt. I want to pay off some debt we have, some debt from at least 10+ years ago.
~ Save. Actually have money in my savings account and keep it there.
~ Love. Give my husband love all the time instead of pick fights or get angry at him and show it.
~ Inspire. I want to really get back to scrapbooking instead of just buying and hiding my supplies. I am creative and want to show it.
Awake
Well I am awake for the day, have been since 10 this morning. I did get up and take the kids to school and then came back to a sad Kaylee because I didn't get her evil McDonalds! So I made her and I pancakes!!! They were yummy and yummier than evil McDonalds ever!!! Since I ate I thought I would stay up, no it did the opposite and I went back to sleep for 1.5 hours. So I got up and had my shower and now Kaylee is swimming in a bath!! She's been in for almost 45 minutes and still doesn't want to get out. That's fine I guess, she's not reeking havoc throughout the house. I wish I knew why I was tired all the time, well probably because I don't drink enough water or sleep right or even exercise. I've been really thinking about doing weight watchers and getting a membership to our local newly renovated family fitness center. I know I would feel better and start looking better. And maybe my kids would quit telling me I'm fat as if I didn't already know!!
Well my toy I got I still haven't even played with. As far as I got was opening the top and taking the pictures and closing it back up. I thought I would do something on it yesterday but that never happened. A whole lot of nothing happened yesterday. I even called into work because I wasn't feeling well, I hate calling in sick. I just didn't feel 100% and I was more drained than anything. Headache, cramps, tired and nauseated. Today is a new day, I still don't feel all that well but I think its my tooth that's bothering me. Hopefully I will get it fixed soon.
So I'm back to getting organized about our move, I know we wont don't qualify for a house. I never got a call back but I know in my heart we just don't qualify, which sucks bad, but I'm fine with it and back to looking at apartments. I hate that we have to wait for our income tax to get here so we can move, I wish I had savings so we could just move now. But we will wait and in the meantime I will start my many list and organize our move. I am a total list maker, I love making list. At least 3-4 times a week I make a list about something. I have a moving list, inventory list, bill list, budget, etc.... Just ready for everything to happen!!!
So the oven situation, it wont be fixed until Feb 9th, yes we are without a oven until then which is crazy!!! The repair company doesn't keep the part on hand, which I can understand, so they are having it mailed to us. As soon as we get it, which will be early next week, we just have to put it aside. The repair guy will NOT come back out until Feb 9th. He claimed they are swamped with calls and for starters he didn't know how it was possible that we got such a quick appointment in the first place when we first called. My mother in law seems to think it was because we have only had the oven for about 2 months. I guess the customer service person saw it as an emergency but the repairman did not see it that way I guess. It's fine just no baking for the next 2 weeks which stinks but we will deal.

Opened
I can quit!
Finally I can quit stalking the Fed Ex Tracking website!!! My new toy is here!!! I didn't even realize what a good deal I got, so not only is the actual machine a binder and laminator, the package deal also came with some laminating sleeves, book covers and a new paper trimmer!!! Wow! Now thats a deal!!!
But I am still stalking or pacing the floors waiting on the Sears repair man to get here. They called around 11am this morning and said he would be here about 12:30 and its now almost 2:30, looks like the stove may not be getting fixed today. Sucks!!!
I just realized that today is Tuesday and my kids stay at school until 4:15!!! Yay!!! Now I can make Mike pick them up, is that bad? Lexi has choir practice and Mikey has Beach Club which is a bible study group. They love staying after school too!!! I'm sure Kaylee will be asking me if we are going to pick up her sissy and bubba, she loves going to pick them up and usually her internal alarm clock is going off and she will start asking about 2pm if its time to go.
Gonna cut this off, need to eat lunch. I just realized I haven't done that today, neither have I had breakfast! Ooops!!!!
Shattered!
Shards of Glass! Yesterday I cooked dinner, made yummy hamburger patties with grilled onions, corn on the cob, steamed cauliflower and baked potatoes. I started the baked potatoes first, and cooked everything else. Everything was done and I pulled out a small potato from the oven, cut it in half and it was almost done. So I pulled out 2 more potatoes and left the rest to cook as they were larger and surely needed more time. So we were enjoying dinner, it was so good when we heard a loud noise from the other side of the house. Mike thought it was Mikey and maybe he broke something or was throwing something in the house. So he went to investigate only to find it wasn't Mikey but the glass on the stove door was shattered!!! It almost looked like maybe a potato had hit the door and caused the breakage but we don't think so. All the potatoes were still on the rack where I had placed them. We don't know what happened or should I say why it happened. The stove is only 2 months old and thankfully still under warranty. We think it may have had a faulty seal. The technician should be here shortly and hopefully we can get it fixed today. Mikes mom had just told me yesterday morning that the drawer on the bottom was indeed a broiler and not a storage compartment like we had thought. She said she was cooking Sunday and had went to grab the large pan from the drawer and she felt sudden heat, so she didn't touch it, thank goodness it would have been a nasty burn had she grabbed it. Since having the stove the front gets so hot when you are cooking on it, you have to be careful not to run your arm on it. Also the glass on the front door would get very hot. Which in this day and age you would think that problem would be fixed. I remember the stove my parents had when I was growing up, the glass on the front would get very very hot.
I am just sick over the whole thing. Of course I was using it when it happened, just like the washer a few weeks back. I found out it was leaking and of course I was using it. There's been several other things that have happened while I was using or I just noticed something was wrong with it. I guess I am observant, don't know if that's a good thing or bad? But it makes me feel bad since this is not my house or my things. Now my mother in law did thank me about the washer because had I not noticed the leaking, it would have ended up getting worse and would have cost more money later on down the road. I didn't think about that, you know like replacing the sheet rock had it got wet, or tiles.
The weather is fair today, its going to be warm, when I go after the kids I may get to go without a jacket, that will be nice. We had a bit of rain earlier about 2 minutes worth. Not enough to do any good at all. Yesterday when I rented movies I got the movie Buried, it was a good movie, I just didn't like the ending. I don't like it when the main character dies or in this case really the only character. Like the movie Untamed Heart, I love that movie and to this day would still watch it over and over again, but I hate the ending because he dies. Wahhhh, I could cry over it right now.
So I am waiting for Fed Ex to get here, I hate waiting for packages to arrive. It's like I spend my whole day walking the floors, looking out the window to see if he's here. I just really want this to get here before I have to leave. Mike wont care that I bought it, but I will still get questioned, when did you buy this and how much did it cost, blah, blah, blah. So if I get it without his knowledge I can put it away until one day when he sees it and I can tell him yeah i got it a few months back. If I got it a few months back it will be OK but if its this week I will get all the questions. That's bad huh??? Now I feel bad! I ordered the YourStory by provo craft, I'm very excited about it too, I only paid $25+shipping. Not bad considering you can buy one at Michael's for $99. I think it was an excellent price, it binds books and laminates. I can't wait to get to play with it, it will probably end up being Saturday though.
