Long Silence Again!!!

Well I sure did get into blogging and fell out and tried to get back to it but fell out again!!! Lets see my last blog was late May. Alot has happened!!! The kids finished up school. Kaylee finished her speech class, Mikey finished the 3rd grade with good grades, I'm really proud of him although moving schools in mid-year his grades did drop. Lexi finished the 5th grade with good grades as well. She dropped a bit in grades but still came out with an A-B average. I think the change of schools made the drop in her grades as well. I do believe they will all do fabulous this coming school year. June was filled with alot of swimming at the apartment swimming pool. We got to have a visit from my sister that lives in California and her boys. So great to see them. I took a mini vacation to spend time with them. Also a few weeks before they came for a visit my Dad was in a motorcycle accident. Thankfully he only came away with a broken foot, it could have been alot worse. Poor Dad was told he would be out of work for 8 to 12 weeks. He ended up having surgery on his foot and is on the mend. He should be returning to work in September. July was a bit of swimming and alot of staying indoors. The poor kids have been couped up in the house for a month now all because at this point in time we have had 33 straight days of 100+ weather. I've tried to do fun stuff with them but we are running out of ideas and it sucks when you don't have much money to do anything. Yesterday we painted on some canvas boards. That was fun and took some of our time. But I know they are very bored and I'm glad that they all start school in about 2.5 weeks. They have also got to spend some time with Mike's parents going swimming and going to some movies.
So some good news is in order, I found out I was pregnant the day before my sister left!! At the moment I am 11 weeks 5 days, almost at 12 weeks and then we will tell everyone. So far just my mom and dad and siblings know. Of course I had to tell some people at work because of lifting that I can't do. The kids are very excited. Were not going to find out the gender of the baby, we want a surprise. Also Lexi will be in the delivery room with us, that will be exciting. I should be seeing the dr again soon and I hope we get to hear the heartbeat or have an ultrasound, that would be nice and help relieve my mind. But the good is I feel pregnant, I still have symptoms and my gosh I don't think I'm going to get a decent nights sleep anytime soon. It seems nightly I have very dramatic dreams and when I wake in the mornings I feel so tired like I've been up all night.
