It's Cold Outside

Catchup, Tuesday morning I woke around 5 am and saw outside was completely white, it has sleeted, and was still sleeting with a bit of snow. I tuned into the news to see if school was closed. It was, so I tried to go back to bed. Mikey came in at 6:30 wanting to know why I didn't wake him. I told him he didn't have school and he looked at me confused. I told him to go look outside and he did and started cheering and then ran to wake Alexis and tell her, she could've cared less. So we had a full day of being inside, the kids did nothing but continually ask to go out and I had to break their hearts every time and say NO!!! Too cold, the windchill was in the teens. Mike was able to get to work and home early without any problems. He came in and we decided we needed to go to the store so we did. We got what we needed and then went to eat at Denny's. I wasn't sure what I would be able to eat but I ended up having Chicken Noodle Soup and some french fries. And I was hungry. It really sucks to not be able to eat. Right before we had lunch I discovered I had a missed call on my phone and it was work. So I checked my messages and it said no work for the day, thank goodness, they were closing the store at 4 too.

So yesterday wasn't all that bad but it was pretty boring being stuck at home for most of the day and not having a car, I failed to mention that Mike took the van to work because he couldn't get the doors on his truck opened. Last night I checked the schools website and discovered they had already cancelled school for today, I said waaahhhhh and the kids cheered. So this morning it is really cold out. Mike again took my car which more than a little ticked me off. I hate being stuck at the house. I could probably drive the truck but since it belongs to his dad I'd rather not. That's all I need something else to break while I'm using it and its not mine. I just wanted to get out, no where in particular just anywhere, grocery store, target, I don't care. I just didn't want to sit in the house all day again. Mike tried to get me to drive over to his work in the truck and switch cars but I threw a fit and said no. I don't care I was just aggravated about the whole thing. So far the kids haven't drove me crazy but I know its coming.

No work for me today as it is a scheduled day off, yay!! Just wish I could go out and do something. Not sure about tomorrow as it still forecasts it will be below freezing and then Friday we have a chance of snow. So who knows about the rest of the week. I'm scheduled for work tomorrow but off Friday and then I don't know about school yet. Guess I will keep a look out on that. I hope they go tomorrow, I would like some routine again. I just hate that I felt bad all last week with my toothache and through the weekend and now its fixed and I still can't do anything. Maybe tomorrow........
