Well our Christmas started on Christmas eve, we went over to Mike's parents house and the kids got their gifts. They gave them money because they didn't know what to get them. So that was excitement for them. All they were talking about is what they wanted to buy. After we left we went to dinner and El Chico and then home to decorate santa cookies and get in the bed so the man in the sleigh could deliver his gifts. Thankfully the kids went to be pretty easy. I was asleep before Mike which surprised me. I'm usually the last one to sleep on Christmas eve. But of course I was up at midnight, then 1:30 and then finally at 4:30. The kids were so exicted because santa brought them a Wii!! They were even more excited to open gifts. We opened gifts and even though we didn't get them much this year they enjoyed every gift they recived.
So after opening gifts I made a big breakast of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and biscuits. It was delicious. I got the kitchen all cleaned up and decided I needed to lay back down, it was going to be at least until noon before we left for my parents house. So I took a nap and it was nice!!! Then we headed to my parents for gift exchange. We ate lunch first and then the gifts, its so much fun seeing all the kids open their gifts. My parents got me and Mike a set of bar stools, thank you mom, you didn't have to!!! She had just mentioned she would be getting my sister some and I told her to get prices for me so I could buy some at a later time, well she surprised us with them. I also got a travel wallet and a phone card for the phone the kids got me.
We finally headed home and I put my swollen self to bed. My legs have swelled so much over the last week and its surely because I've been busy and on my feet all day. Finally this morning the veins in my feet were actually standing out but I still feel swelling in my calfs. I know by the end of the day though I wont have normal looking feet or ankles but I guess I will deal with it.
I will be 33 weeks tomorrow and I feel the time slipping away. I still have so much to do!!! I've got to get the other crib cleaned up and set up, clean out the van so I can install the carseat bases, clean up the playpen, start packing my hospital bag and I still have much more to buy for these babies. My sister had her twins at 35.5 weeks so it scarees me that it could happen to me and thats just 2.5 weeks away and I still have too too much to do.
