Getting Easier

It's getting easier to remember to blog, now my little project 365 I was trying to do is basically already down the drain. I think I've already missed 2 days!! I'm going to keep going though, its only a couple of days.

Yesterday I heard from a mortgage company, it was encouraging, I did have to submit another application and stuff, but that is done and I should hear something this week which will be nice. I told Mike and he acted excited. Maybe he is changing his mind from renting to buying. I am still hopeful.....

So yesterday the kids were upset because of no snow day. They really thought with the little bit we got they would get to stay home. Then this morning Mikey wanted to stay home, he told me he had a "stummyache", I declined and told him no he needed to go to school and that if he ended up with diarrhea or throwing up he can go to the nurse and come home. I have too much to do today, including taking Kaylee for her 5 year check-up. Anyways the kids will get out of school at noon on Thursday and Friday this week due to end of 1st semester. And they don't have school on Monday.

I'm excited to see how much Kaylee has grown since her last check-up. I know I took her to her 4 year check and the doctor was concerned about her weight, we scheduled a weight check and Mike ended up taking her and I have no clue what she weighed because he didn't take notes. So I will be all ears today when the doctor sees her. Kaylee will be so excited when I tell her she's going to the Dr today, she loves the Dr. I don't know what it is about it but she likes it, which I guess is good, she use to hate it and would sit in my lap the entire wait in the waiting room and wouldn't play with the other kids. Which I prefer because then she's not playing with the germ infested toys. But now she likes it and anytime she feels sick she will tell us she needs to go to the doctor. Mikey likes going to the Dr too but I know its because he likes to play with all the germ infested toys.

Sunday I had a meeting at work, same ole same ole, what we need to do, what we don't need to do, it was a good hour I guess, except for the announcement that the new guy is becoming department manager. I was suppose to be next, I'm not upset, I understand why I didn't get to be next but it does hurt a bit. Hopefully there is next year when I can open my availability up, I say next year but I mean August when all the kids are in school full time. But still makes me nervous because that means its possible the kids will have to be home for short amounts of time without adult supervision until Mike would get home. Maybe we can work something out for someone to watch the kids. But of course by August there might be a whole new job on my resume, who knows.

I think I've rattled on enough, time to go shower and get Kaylee up and ready for this appointment.
